Wooden Spoon
Are you ever boiling pasta (or just boiling anything) and the water and bubbles continue to rise and even spill over? Continuing to lightly blow on the rising bubbles only stops them for a minute (if that). A Wooden Spoon is the answer! Since you may already be using a wooden spoon to stir whatever you are boiling (if not, you'll need one!), just lay the wooden spoon across the pan of boiling water. The wooden spoon helps prevent your boiling water from spilling over.
